Yes. Our Emergency Medical Dispatch Response Unit (EMDRU) service provides rapid, on-site stabilization for critical health emergencies, delivering life-saving care at the scene before safely transporting patients to the nearest hospital for further treatment including many types of care can be delivered at home just as effectively as in a traditional urgent care clinic, emergency room or hospital.

A visit is typically the same cost as an in-network urgent care visit, and just a fraction of a trip to the ER. Our cost page (hyperlink to the subscription page) gives estimated out-of-pocket charges for many common insurance networks. Keep in mind that your specific bill may depend on whether you’ve met your deductible.

We utilize the same skilled professionals you’d encounter in an urgent care center, emergency room, or hospital. Based on your specific needs, your EMDRU team could consist of an emergency or internal medicine physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, nurse, medical technician, and/or imaging technician. They come fully equipped with the tools and technology required to handle most non-life-threatening emergencies.

If you don’t have insurance, or if we don’t partner with your insurance provider, you can still receive care from Health-Hub at a flat rate based on the type of emergency visit. This fee covers everything we provide during the visit, including medications, procedures, and on-site lab tests.

You can pay using credit, debit, bank transfer, government or private health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement account (HRA), or flexible spending account (FSA).

In some cases, we may recommend additional services, either from Health-Hub or external providers, such as imaging or prescriptions. These follow-up services are not included in the EMDRU visit and will result in separate bills from the respective providers.

Several factors influence how we plan visits each day, including the number of people needing care, their locations, the urgency of their conditions, and the availability of our healthcare professionals. We also collaborate with value-based care networks (such as insurers, hospitals, health systems, and physician groups) to prioritize high-need patients during scheduling.

Occasionally, we may experience high demand and be unable to accommodate everyone for a same-day visit. If this happens, we’ll inform you promptly so you can choose to schedule a visit for the next day or seek care from another provider.
